Family Gingerbread House!
A fun activity for the family to do is make a gingerbread house. The background of Christmas music, giggles of children, and the fun of creating make lasting memories!
Since, gingerbread houses are rarely eaten anyways it is quite easy to keep it healthy. The trick is to keep them eating healthy stuff while working.
WE made “CHRISTMAS SMOOTHIES” (strawberry banana packed with a scoop of vitamin c and flaxseed oil), they were red adding to the festiveness of the afternoon.
- 2 c. unsweetened coconut milk (from a container not canned)
- 10 frozen strawberries
- 3 frozen bananas
- 1 tsp or as I do it 15 seconds of squeezing the flax bottle (much more than a tsp. start slow and add more)
- 1 scoop vitamin c powder
- Put all ingredients in blender and puree to smooth!
