Ingredients
- Carcas from 1 whole chicken or a whole chicken
- 2 carrots-chopped about an inch in size
- 2 ribs celery- chopped about an inch in size
- 2 cloves garlic- peeled
- 1 large onion- quartered
- 2 T. apple cider vinegar
- water
- crock pot
Instructions
- Place the bones from a whole chicken into your crock pot. (or you can use a whole chicken and just remove chicken when done for another meal) Add carrots, celery, garlic and onion. Fill crock pot with water. Pour in 2 T. apple cider vinegar. Put crock pot on low for 24 hours. Allow to cool, strain, and package to freeze. I freeze in 1, 2 and 4c. bags. I use 1 or 2 c. for gravy and 4c. for soups!
