Gluten Free/Dairy Free Carmel Corn!
Are you looking for a quick sweet treat? This is a great one for family movie night. Get some organic popcorn (best price in the bulk section at the co-op), coconut oil, maple syrup and sea salt!
To make this super easy treat…..
*Heat (Med/Hi Heat) about 2 T. of coconut oil in a large pot with a top (I use my large soup pan)
*Sprinkle desired amount of popcorn on the bottom of the pan (I usually put one coat on the bottom of the pan)
*Put top on pan. When you hear a pop begin to gently move pan back and forth to prevent burning. When pops become 2-3 seconds apart it is usually done! Remove from heat and let sit on the stove.
*In a small sauce pan bring 1 T. coconut oil and 2T. maple syrup to a boil. Drizzle over popcorn and sprinkle with sea salt.
A much healthier version of the good old “carmel corn” plus it is gluten and dairy free!
